If you are taking methotrexate (such as Amoxil, Trexall, Zmax, and Erythromycin), take methotrexate (such as Amoxil, Trexall, Zmax, and Erythromycin) as directed by your doctor.
Keep the tablets in their blister pack until the blister pack is empty, at least 2 hours before you take a dose of Amoxicillin.
If you are taking oral Augmentin DDS, take the oral dose with food.
Drink plenty of water while you start taking this medicine. You may notice a decrease in nausea, diarrhea, or stomach pain. Contact your doctor if you do not feel better.
